Celebrating the joy of Christmas
Pope Francis encourages people all over the world, to celebrate a “real Christmas” by recognizing Jesus in their lives and cultivating peace in their hearts.
Pope Francis says;“What is Christmas? Is it a tree? A statue of a baby with a woman and a man nearby? Yes, it is Jesus, the birth of Jesus, so stop for a bit and think of Christmas as a message, a message of peace.”
We are encourgaed to keep in our hearts this message fo peace and hope as we prepare for our family celebrations. Pope Francis encourages us to "celebrate, exchange gifts, eat and be merry, but do not forget Jesus. Christmas is Jesus who comes, who comes to touch our hearts, and lives."
We wish all Corpus Christi families a happy, joyful, and hopeful Christmas.
